Saturday, December 5 Manassas parade starts at 10 a.m.One of the longest running parades in Prince William County! This year’s theme is Lights, Camera, Action! Seven-Time Emmy Award Winning Actor, Ed Asner, best known for his role as Lou Grant on the Mary Tyler Moore Show will be the Grand Marshall.
Saturday, December 5 Dumfries parade starts at Noon Parade starts at Dumfries Town Hall 17755 Main Street, Dumfries featuring SANTA! Tree Lighting Ceremony begins at 5 p.m. featuring Dumfries Elementary School Chorus.
Saturday, December 5 Quantico parade starts at 1 p.m. Town of Quantico’s 69th Annual Christmas Parade starts at 1 p.m. on Potomac Avenue. Santa will be at the Masonic Temple after the parade to greet the children.
Saturday, December 5 Occoquan festivities start at Noon Rivershore Charters will bring Santa up the river, then OWL Fire Department will drive Santa to the Occoquan Town Hall. Santa will stay at the Town Hall talking to the children and taking pictures. Be sure to bring your camera.
Saturday, December 12 Lake Ridge starts at 11 a.m. FREE Hot Chocolate All Day Long and FREE Shuttle Service between Occoquan and the Workhouse. Santa Parade Rock N’ Roll theme featuring Santa on a fire truck. Festivities in Tackett’s Mill Lakeside from Noon to 4 p.m. including baked goods and food trucks. carolers, holiday music, fire pits, marshmallow roasting and historic demonstrations in Historic Occoquan from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Workhouse Arts Center will host refreshments, sing-along caroling and SANTA from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturday, December 12 Nokesville parade starts at 3:30 p.m. Nokesville’s 4th Annual Christmas Parade is organized by Friends Uniting Nokesville and the Nokesville Business Association. The parade starts at 3:30 p.m. and runs along Fitzwater Drive. In addition, to colorful floats, marching bands, dancers, and SANTA there will be activities after the parade including live nativity on the lawn at Nokesville Church of Brethren, live Holiday music, FREE horse-drawn carriage rides.
